We’re pleased to announce that our paper titled
“Harvesting Sustainable Energy Through Vortex-Induced Vibrations of Finite Length Cylinder”
has been published in Physics of Fluids, Volume 37, Issue 4 (2025).

This work presents a novel approach to energy harvesting using vortex-induced vibrations (VIV) in finite-length cylindrical structures. The study offers new experimental insights into the flow-induced oscillations and energy conversion mechanisms, with implications for sustainable power generation in marine and wind environments.

Congratulations to Andrei Fershalov and Pieter Orlandini on this exciting milestone and their contributions to advancing fluid-based energy systems!
