We’re pleased to announce that our paper titled
“An Experimental Study on the Spreading and Fingering Instability of Droplet Impacting on a Surface with Plasma Discharge”
has been published in Physics of Fluids, Volume 37, Issue 9 (093380), 2025.
This work explores the intricate dynamics of droplet impact on surfaces under plasma discharge, focusing on spreading behavior and the onset of fingering instabilities. Through systematic experiments, the study uncovers how plasma–liquid interactions alter droplet morphology, surface wettability, and instability evolution. The findings provide new insights into droplet dynamics relevant to plasma-assisted coating, printing, and surface treatment technologies.
Congratulations to the team for this exciting milestone and their contributions to advancing the understanding of plasma–droplet interactions!
