We are proud to celebrate Jooi Albano for earning two major honors at the ASME International Mechanical Engineering Congress and Exposition (IMECE) 2024, held in Portland, OR, from November 17–21, 2024.
Jooi was awarded 2nd Place in the highly competitive Young Engineer Paper (YEP) Contest, recognizing her outstanding research and presentation on cutting-edge topics in fluid dynamics. Her talk stood out for its technical depth, clarity, and impact.
In addition, Jooi received the Research Poster Award, which honors excellence in research visualization and communication. Her poster presentation impressed judges with its innovative content and effective storytelling of complex experimental results.
