We presented <strong>three technical talks<\/strong> and <strong>two research posters<\/strong>, showcasing our latest work in droplet dynamics, plasma-fluid interactions, and colloidal transport in additive manufacturing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Oral Presentations:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Hydrodynamics of a Water Droplet Impact on a Surface Dielectric Barrier Discharge Plasma<\/strong><br><em>J. Ahumada Lazo, P. Lelikov, MD S. Sarwar, and Y. Liu<\/em><br>This talk explored the complex interaction between impacting water droplets and surface plasma fields, offering new insights into flow behavior and potential strategies for plasma-based flow control in wet environments.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>In-Flight Interaction of Water, Glycol, and Alcohol Droplets with a Dielectric Barrier Discharge Plasma<\/strong><br><em>J. Ahumada Lazo, H. Zhang, and Y. Liu<\/em><br>This study investigated how different liquid droplets\u2014water, glycol, and alcohol\u2014interact with plasma discharges during flight, with relevance to thermal spraying, de-icing, and plasma-assisted processes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>An Experimental Investigation on Colloidal Droplet Behaviors in a Freezing-Based Inkjet 3D Printing Method<\/strong><br><em>H. Zhang, X. Zhang, and Y. Liu<\/em><br>This presentation focused on the dynamic and thermal responses of colloidal droplets during freezing-based inkjet printing, aiming to advance understanding of droplet-solidification interactions in additive manufacturing.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Poster Presentations:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>An Experimental Study on the Dynamic and Thermal Behaviors of Colloidal Droplet in a Freezing-Based Inkjet 3D Printing Method<\/strong><br><em>X. Zhang, H. Zhang, and Y. Liu<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>A Fundamental Study of the Dynamic and Thermal Behaviors of Droplet Interacting with Plasma Discharge<\/strong><br><em>MD S. Sarwar, J. Ahumada Lazo, P. Lelikov, and Y. Liu<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The posters showcased complementary experimental studies on droplet behavior in plasma environments and cryogenic printing processes, highlighting challenges and opportunities in multiphase transport and material deposition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We\u2019re proud of our team for contributing to one of the world\u2019s premier fluid dynamics conferences and for sharing our work with the broader scientific community.
